Tanner says this is actually called a frohawk because his head is not shaved on the side. Isn't he cute.

Garret's Blanket Fuzz

There is currently a hole in Garret's blanket (and of course his mother with her awesome sewing skills has not fixed it) and for whatever reason he loves to pull the batting out of this hole and then put it under his nose and above his pacifer. If any of you know why he does this, please let me know.

Christmas Morning

The kids of course loved Christmas morning. They got way too many presents. Katie loved her "Real Life" Kitty. She named her Jenna Sue Christensen. It is as close to a real kitty as she is ever going to get. Garret loved his hot wheels bike. He didn't want to open any more presents after he saw that. Tanner got his new basketball hoop so now all I here is him dunking downstairs all day. Grammy, Pompa and Cam came and of course we had egg casserole, orange julius, and cinnamin rolls. We are creatures of habit, oh wait I think that is called tradition. Grammy and Pompa left about noon and flew to Utah to see Granny and Grammy's brothers and sister. We went up to grandma and grandpa Spear's for dinner and the hung out with our friends the McLuskies.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at my parents house with my parents and Cameron. We made calzones for dinner and had way too much to eat. We played Bingo and acted out the Christmas story. It's kind of hard when you don't have enough people to act out the parts. Grammy was Mary, Garret was Joseph, Pompa was the donkey. Katie and Tanner were shepards and wise men. Garret was a wise man too. I got to be the angel and the inn keeper. Then of course we opened our Christmas Eve PJ's. The kids were very excited to go to bed. There is a first time for everything.

Giddy Up

Garret and Katie riding on the horse that grandpa Buffalow made. It has been down in the furnace room for a while and I got it out for Garret to ride. He loves it.

Katie's Dance Recital

Katie had her 1st dance recital. The whole recital lasted less than 15 minutes. It was wonderful. She takes lessons from a girl in our stake who teaches out of her home. There were only 3 short numbers. Katie was a dancing fairy. She was very cute.

Tanner's School Play

For Tanner's school play they did Elfis and the Sleigh Riders. He got to be a reindeer. He had 3 speaking lines. He made a pretty good reindeer.

Shot Gun Shooting

Kirt, Tanner, Sam, Travis, and Ben went clay pigeon shooting. Tanner hit one clay pigeon. He had lots of using the pigeon thrower. They also went to Uncle Sam's pheasant farm. Sam raises pheasants for pheasant hunters.

Climbing Wall

We went to the Vernal Rec center while we were there for Thanksgiving. We went swimming, played basketball and the kids got to do the climbing wall. Tanner got almost all the way to the top.

Dinosaur Museum

We went to the Dinosaur Museum in Vernal. We took our cousins Megan, Brooke and Travis with us (Cindy and Sam's kids). Dinosaurs are always a big hit with the kids. Of course they pretty much run through the museum as fast as they can. Heck with reading anything or actually learning anything about the dinosaurs.
