Utah Trip Day 9

We helped Marsha clean her church today.  Good thing we were there because only Marsha and 2 other older women showed up to clean.  It would have taken them forever.  Then we went to visit Kristi Rasmussen, one of Jim's step daughters, and played with her goats. Then we hung out at Marsha's and rode the 4 wheeler and side by side and played card games.  We left about 2pm to drive home.  We were only going to drive part of the way, but decided to drive the whole way and didn't get home until about 3am.  It wasn't a very smart decision because there was a lot of snow over the passes and it was really scary.  I had to sit in the back and close my eyes.

Utah Trip Day 8

Today we were in Moab.  We went mountain biking in the morning.  Everybody loved it but me.  It was ok, but I was a chicken and didn't want to go very fast and wasn't very good at turning. Garret took a few good falls, but he got up and kept going.  After biking, we went into Arches National Park. After Arches, we drove to Price and saw Granny at her assisted living facility and then drove to Elmo and stayed the night with Marsha.

 Double Arch

The famous Delicate Arch. Unfortunately we didn't have the time or desire to make the hike to it, so we just did a short hike to a view point of it.
