Kerstin Has Her Baby

My friend from my ward Kerstin Palmer had her baby and I got to be her nurse! It was so fun to be a part of little Tucker's birth.

Girls Camp 2018

Katie was a 3rd year at girls camp this summer. The theme of camp was He is the Gardener.  The 3rd levels were the tulips.  Kirt and I got to go up for Bishops night.

Garret's Primary Class

Garret's primary teacher sent me this picture.  They had a lesson on David and Goliath and the fire clothing was supposed to represent the armor that they wanted David to wear to defeat Goliath.

Katie Cuts Garrets Hair

Garret wanted to shave his hair off. Before I shaved it off, Katie begged Garret to let her try and cut it.  Being the nice brother that he is, he was her guinea pig and let her try to cut his hair. 

Floating Down the Spokane River

Michelle and I took the kids and floated down the Spokane River from Mirabeau Park to Plantes Ferry.  The river was sooo cold. When we started, we couldn't get out into the middle of the river and catch the current.  The kids were all crying and non of us wanted to get into the water to pull us out in the middle because it was so cold.  We were finally able to paddle out to the middle sitting in our tubes and catch the current.  It took up forever to float down.  The current was so slow.  But it ended up being fun.  We went to Dairy Queen afterwards.

I was looking at Garret's teeth and noticed that they were absolutely disgusting.

YW Bike Ride

The YW rode bikes from Mirabeau Park to Krispy Kreme Donuts and back.  Of course we had to get donuts at Krispy Kreme.  Some of the girls jumped in the Spokane River when we were done riding.

Ty Dying Shirts

We ty died shirts today with Michelle and her kids and Katie and her kids.  Michelle is always the cool, fun aunt.

Youth Conference

This year the youth had a super fun youth conference.  They went boating at Camp Peine and then had a fireside and a dance.  Kirt and I took the boat out and took the youth tubing.This was the only picture I took.

Burning in the Bosom

We were talking with the kids about the expression 'burning in your bosom'.  It came out that Garret thought a bosom was a butt.  So apparently whenever he heard the expression 'burning in your bosom' he thought it meant burning in your butt.  When we told him that a bosom was your chest he said "oh, that makes so much more sense."

Post Camp

Kirt taught Katie and Garret and a few of Garret's teammates (Gavin Zehm, Jack Del Mese, and Jack Florence), and Shane Skidmore some awesome post moves.

Indian's Baseball Game

Garret, Nixon, Jon and my dad went to an Indian's Baseball Game.

Sadie Brakes Her Arm

Katie (Michelle's sister) and I took the kids to Altitude the trampoline park.  Unfortunately Sadie broke her arm and had to have surgery and get pins in her arm.  

Flowers

When we got home from our Utah trip, there were these beautiful flowers sitting on my table.  My sweet friends Delphia and Abby had left them on my table.  It was the 1st time I had been home since Tanner had left on his mission.  They knew it would be hard on me. (And it was.)
