Playing at Grammy and Pompa's

After home church today we went to Grammy and Pompa's (the barn at the Guinn's).  We played wiffle ball, rode bikes and scooters, went on the swings, played in the woods, and visited.  Ollie, Tanner and Garret had a scooter race.  Tanner won, but he cheated and used his arms to push.  Later that evening, Grammy fed us (just the 5 Christensen's) a delicious lasagna dinner and we played Quiplash.  

Palouse to Cascades Trail

Kirt and Garret went and rode their bikes on the Palouse to Cascade trail.  They rode 17 miles.  They started on the Idaho border outside Tekoa. 

Weekly Lake Update

Tuesday, Katie went to the lake with her friends Esther Killinger and Lilly Peterson.

 Wednesday, Katie went out with her friends Alice Gubler, Alice Carothers, Mary Gubler, Madison Crandall, and Olivia Tolley.  Garret, Tanner, and I went too.  Michelle, Rachelle, and Grammy came too.   Katie, Tanner and I spent the night.  Garret went home with Michelle so he could go to YM.  Katie, Tanner and I went to Messy's Burgers for dinner. 

 Kirt and Garret came out on Thursday.  We hung out as a family.  Then Katie, Tanner and I went home Thursday night.  I had a work meeting, Tanner had a final on Friday and Katie wanted to hang out with her friends.  Kirt and Garret went to Messy's for dinner.

 Friday, Katie and I went back out to the lake.  Tanaeya, Jaden and Makelle Thompson came with us. Michelle and the kids came too.  It was super windy.  We all went home Friday night after dinner. 

Father's Day 2020

We made Kirt breakfast for Father's Day.  

In our church meeting the kids sang him a song.

We had dinner at Jon and Michelle's.  We had to get a picture of the kids with Kirt.

I wanted a picture with my dad.  I don't think I have very many of just the 2 of us.

Lake Time!

Katie, Garret, and I went to the lake on Friday with Michelle and the kids.  It was nice when the sun was out, but when it was cloudy, it was a bit cold.  The kids still played in the water.  I took Garret wake boarding for the first time.  I also took Garret and Scarlett on a jet ski ride.  I hit a huge wave and scared Scarlett.  Kirt came out about 3pm. Katie and I and Michelle and the kids went home and Garret and Kirt stayed the night.  (Katie wanted to go home to Madison Crandall's graduation party.)  Kirt and Garret went for a bike ride and then went to dinner at the Boar's nest and played Pinball.  Katie and I went out on Saturday morning. Jon and Michelle and the kids and Grammy came out too.  Jon, Grammy and the kids went on a 4 wheeler ride.  They went home when they got back because the sun wasn't out and it was cold.  Grammy and Sadie stayed for a bit and played 5 Crowns with Katie, Garret, and me.  Then they left and so did Katie and Garret.  Kirt and I stayed out for a few more hours and read.  It never warmed up and the sun never came out.

Saturday morning, Katie and Garret put wet suits on to swim.  They didn't last very long.  The water is still pretty cold and it was cold outside.
