Well we are finally here. And it was quite the adventure. We left our house in on Saturday May 31st around 11am. It of course was an extremely difficult process to check in at the airport. For some reason, I had a paper ticket even though we had booked them electronically and so my mom had to run home and get my ticket and bring it back after she dropped us off. She got there just in time for us to get on the plane. We had a layover in Salt Lake and then on to Atlanta. We got to Atlanta about 11pm. Kirt's friend from his mission Jared Justice picked us up and let us stay at his house because of course there was not a flight to Costa Rica at 11pm. We got there about midnight, got 6 hours of sleep and then went back to the airport. We were there a full 2 hours before our flight, but we stood in line to check in forever. When we finally got up the the counter, we still had 45 minutes before our flight left, but they would not let us check in for it. They said we had to check in 1 hour before. So instead of having our direct flight to Costa Rica leaving at 10am, we were rebooked on a flight through Houston that left at 2pm but didn't actually leave until 3. We finally got to Costa Rica around 9pm, had to rent our car and then drive 2 and a half hours to our house. We rolled in around midnight. The kids were great though. They really were troupers. We are all very glad to be here
