Boating

We went boating last Saturday. Katie and Garret went on the tube with Kirt. I think maybe they went a whole 2 miles an hour. Tanner had his best wake boarding day ever. He looked so good. I was wrestling with Garret and Kirt was driving the boat so we didn't get any pictures of Tanner, but we will get some this season.

Price's Dino Mine Park

Price has this awesome park. Katie begged to go to it everyday. Katie has learned to do the monkey bars really well. Granny volunteered to help when they were building this park. She also donated money to help build it so there is a bench with her and grandpa's name on it and also some fence slats with all her kids names on them.

Price's Prehistoric Museum

Price has a really cool prehistoric museum. There are dinosaur bones, ice age bones, and lots of Native American artifacts that have all been found in the area around Price. There have been 10 new species of dinosaurs found in this area. They also found the bones of a mammoth and lots of other ice age animals like saber tooth cats.

Visiting the Cousins

Katie, Garret, and I went with Grammy and Pompa on a little vacation in the middle of July. We went down to Utah to visit Granny and see Jim and Marsha who had just got home from their mission in Orlando, Florida. On the way down, we stopped to visit Ryan, Angela, Kathleen, Brandon and Cody. We went to Sizzler to celebrate my dad's birthday and hung out and played with the cousins. Katie had so much fun with Kathleen.

Garret Loves Katie's Doll

Garret loves to play with Katie's dolls. He holds them and gives them pats on the back and is all loving to them and them he proceeds to chew on them or throw them. Just when you think he's got this soft thing down.

Lake on the 4th of July

We went to the lake for the 4th of July. The weather was cruddy, but we still had a good time. We convinced Katie to try to learn to water ski. We told her she could get a new toy if she tried. Bribery definitely works for Katie. The funniest part of the whole thing is what I did while she was trying to ski. These skies are trainer skies and so the rope is tied to the skies so a person in the boat has to hold on to the rope so they can let go it the person on the skies falls. So we decided to try and pull her on the jet ski. Kirt was in the water with Katie and my mom was driving the jet ski. I was sitting on the jet ski backwards holding onto the ski rope. When my mom hit it, Katie and Kirt were so heavy in the water that it pulled me right off the back of the jet ski into the water.
