We were driving to church today and we all gasped as we drove by grammy and pompas old house and saw that they had cut down the huge pine tree in the front yard.  It is so weird to see them making changes to the house.

Back to school night at Chester on McDonald (Chester is being remodeled and so the kids are going to Keystone instead.)

Bike ride on Trail of the Couer d' Alene

For Labor Day we rode the Trail of the Couer d' Alenes from Heyburn to Harrison and back.  It's about a 16 mile bike ride (8 miles each way). Grammy and Pompa came with us.  We had lunch and ice-cream in Harrison and the kids swam in the public swimming area.  They loved the diving board. We saw a moose just off the trail.
