Tanner's team had a 3 point contest, dunk contest, and a scrimmage to kick off the season and get the fans excited. Tanner got to participate in the 3 point contest. He also got to sign autographs at the end of the meet and greet.

Tanner's 1st game at University of Nevada, Reno
Emilie and her parents and grandparents and Grammy and Pompa went to Tanner's 1st game against Nevada. (Grammy and Pompa were on their way down to Arizona).

Tanner had his best game ever against the University of Washington. It was so fun to be there in person. Kirt, Jon, Grammy, and I drove over and back that day for the game and it was totally worth it! Tanner played like an absolute beast. He was all over the place. He had great offense and amazing defense. He played 35 minutes and had 26 points!!!
He was the player of the game and got interviewed by the Utah Tech radio announcer Rod Zundel after the game.
After the big game at UW, they went to Arizona to play. Arizona is ranked 4th in the nation. They got whooped on pretty badly. Tanner said it was cool to play in such a crowded and loud gym though.
Tanner came and played at his Alma Mater, the University of Idaho! He had a huge crowd of fans at the game. Unfortunately Idaho's game plan was to get Tanner to fowl out. He was in fowl trouble the whole game and only played about 14 minutes. He still had 10 points and 8 rebounds and they won!! It was fun to be back in the Idaho gym. It's still such a cool facility.

Tanner got to ride home with us and visit with us at home for the evening. It was so fun to see him. Emilie and her parents flew up for the game and so did Vance and Aaron.
Emilie's sister Megan and her family came to surprise Emilie's mom for her 50th birthday. Tanner on the Utah Tech court with Megan's son Cash. He is such a cute kid. (Cash is pretty cute too.)

Tanner went to North Dakota over Thanksgiving. He played North Dakota 52-67 and Cal State Fullerton 66-60. We didn't get any pictures from these games.
On December 1st they played at Utah State 81-86. Kirt and I, and Grammy and Pompa were going to drive down to this game and the Weber game, but the stupid weather did not cooperate. The roads were really bad so we decided to not go. We were so bummed. Utah Tech almost beat Utah State who was supposed to beat them by 20 points. Tanner wasn't able to come and take pictures with his fans at this game. Emilie, Dave, Jen, Grandpa and Grandma Christensen, Kyle and Lindsey came to cheer him on.
They played Weber State on December 3rd 77-65. Tanner had an awesome game! He had 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Tanner had lots of fans at this game. Emilie, Jen, Dave, Ryan, Angela, Michelle, Katie, Mady Crandall, Lilly Peterson, Grandpa and Grandma Christensen, Brett and Kristie.
On December 6th they played Chapman University 99-58. Brad and Marci came to watch the game.
Tanner played the Masters University on December 17th. They won 100-58. Lacey and Mark came and watched the game.
Tanner came out and the game and was laughing at something Jacob said. I asked him what Jacob said and Tanner said he said "Look, we are on the kiss cam".
Tanner played Westmont College on December 19th. They won 80-53
Tanner played Lindenwood on December 22nd. They won 95-64. We finally saw Emilie on the TV (top left corner in black shirt.)
On January 5th Utah Tech played California Baptist University. They lost 58-72 but Tanner had a great game.
Utah Tech played UTRGV on January 12th. They lost 72-85. Grammy and Pompa were at this game and the game on the 14th.
On January 14th, Utah Tech played Sam Houston. They lost 53-78.
