Thanksgiving 2022

Kirt, Garret and I had Thanksgiving in Spokane at Grammy and Pompa's house with Grammy, Pompa, and Jon and Cam's families.  

Katie had Thanksgiving in Vernal at Grandma and Grandpa Christensen's house.  Cindy, Marci, Tami, Brett, Lindsey, and Lacey's families were there.  (Aaron was in town, but he had Thanksgiving with Kim's family at his house.)  There were lots of pies there. 

Katie went and visited Grandpa York

Emilie was in St. George and had Thanksgiving with her family. Tanner was flying to North Dakota because he has games there on Friday and Saturday.  Emilie's family got matching sweatshirts.

 

Grandpa and Aaron Visit

Grandpa Christensen and Aaron came to Spokane to watch Tanner's game against the university of Idaho.  Grandpa had always wanted to come up for a game last year, but hadn't been able to make it.  So since Utah Tech was playing Idaho at Idaho, he decided to come up for the game.  Grandma couldn't come because she was taking care of Grandpa York, so Aaron came with Grandpa.  Grandma said that Grandpa couldn't come alone.  They went out to dinner at Outback.  Garret couldn't have been happier.  

 

Katie and Lilly Visit Marsha

Katie and Lilly went down to spend time at Marsha's house.  They love getting away from their dorm and hanging out with Marsha.  She takes good care of them.  They went down on Friday.  Then Katie took Marsha to Provo for a Dr appointment and Lilly went back to the dorm so she could go to Spokane for Thanksgiving.  Katie went back to Elmo with Marsha and then drove over to Vernal on Wednesday for Thanksgiving with the Christensen family. 

They made home made orange chicken for dinner one night.  

Katie got a hair cut in Provo on Tuesday when she took Marsha up for her Dr appointment. 

 

Happy Birthday Grammy

Kirt, Jon, Grammy, and I went over to Seattle on Grammy's birthday to watch Tanner play at the University of Washington.  We had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory before the game for Grammy's birthday.  (For pictures of the game see Tanner see Tanner's basketball post.)

 

Garret's Sophomore Basketball Season 2022-2023

Garret was on the JV basketball team at University High School.  His coach was Rich Tesmer.  He teaches at Chester Elementary.  His teammates are Daeton Aragon, Brady Bell, Luke Gisolo, Payten Kintner-Burkhart, Quinn Lipke, Bjorn Olson, Jonah Pope, Kowen Sanders, Demonte Taylor, Peyton Wolcott, Gavin Zehm.

Katie Visits St George

Katie took the shuttle down to St George on Thursday night to hang out with Tanner and Emilie.  On Friday she hung out at their apartment and did homework while Emilie was at work and Tanner was at school.  Friday night they went to dinner.  Saturday they explored St George and went to Tanner's basketball game.  Sunday Katie and Emilie went to church and hung out with Emilie's family.  Tanner had to leave at 5:45am to head to Seattle for his University of Washington game. 

 

How to Host a Murder Party

Our friends Gary and Katrina McLuskie hosted a How to Host a Murder Party.  We got to dress up and read scripts and try to figure out who committed the murder.  It was fun and Kirt even guessed who the murderer was!

Lizzo Concert

Very last minute, Katie and Lilly got some tickets to the LIzzo Concert.  They don't even really listen to her music, but they thought it would be fun to go to a concert.  So they road TRAX up to Salt Lake and went to the concert that was in the Vivint Arena.
