New Year's Eve 2023 and New Year's 2024

 I worked on New Years Eve and New Years Day.

After work on New Year's Eve, we went to the Crandall's for a few hours.  We didn't stay long because we are old and because I had to work the next morning. 

Tanner and Emilie had friends over and played games.  They actually stayed up til midnight!

Garret's High School Basketball Tournament in San Diego

Garret's high school basketball team went to play in a tournament in San Diego.  I had to work so I didn't get to go, but Kirt got to go with him.  They left at 6 am on December 26th (I took them to the airport at 4:30 am.) They  played 3 games, went to the Mormon Battalion, Sea World, a San Diego State basketball game.

Christmas 2023

Tanner and Emilie got to come home for Christmas.  We missed Katie in Panama.  Emilie flew up Thursday night December 21st from St George.  Tanner was in Colorado for a game, so he flew in from Colorado Friday afternoon.  It was so fun to have them home! (We also played lots of games, but forgot to take any pictures of us playing games.)

We went to dinner at Boston's on Friday night after Tanner got here.

Tanner, Emilie, Garret and I played pickle ball on Saturday morning.  Garret and I are still the reigning champions.

We went bowling on Saturday afternoon.  Kirt even came with us.

Saturday night we had a really yummy dinner.  The land flipping people that Kirt does coaching for sent him some steaks, porkchops, lobster tails, bread, and tarts so we cooked it all up for dinner tonight.  Plus we had to add some tater tots of course.  It was so yummy.  Pompa came for dinner because Grammy is in Utah at aunt Barbara's funeral.

Sunday we had Christmas Eve church.  We just had sacrament meeting.

After church, Emilie and I made gingerbread houses.

We went to Grammy and Pompa's on Christmas Eve.  We ate tons of food, opened our PJ's, played the muffin tin game (bounce a ping pong ball into the muffin tin with a number on it and get the prize under the cup with that number), Bingo, Jackpot, and Deal or No Deal.  Then we acted out the Nativity and had a talent show.

Katie got to watch us open presents. Her package did not make it to her on Christmas.  (She did get it on New Year's thankfully.)

Emilie and Tanner talked Garret into getting these awesome ear muffs for Kirt.  When you squeeze the tails the ears move. I'm sure Kirt will wear it everywhere.
