Chinese Lantern Festival

There was a Chinese Lantern Festival in Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane.  They had been advertising it for weeks and it sounded really cool.  So I dragged Kirt and the kids to it and it ended up being awful.  The lights were cool but you could have seen them without paying the $78 I paid, and the show was terrible.  Oh well, we tried to be cultured.  The silly things was, that my mom and dad had gone a few days earlier and they were telling everyone that it wasn't worth the money.  Of course we were not one of people that they told:(

Katie finishes reading the Book of Mormon

Katie finished reading the Book of Mormon.  She read it all by herself! Way to go Katie.  She made a goal to finish reading it again by the end of the year.

Skewer Dinner

Katie and I made skewer for dinner tonight!! Chicken, pineapple and bacon skewers and banana, apple, and grape skewers.

Maddie and Ollie's 1st birthday

1st Day of School 2015

Katie is a 6th grader at Horizon Middle School (She had to go to school 1st. Tanner had late start because the freshman go to school for 2 hours before the other students come.)

 Tanner is a 10th graders at U-High.

 Garret is a 3rd grader at Chester Elementary.  His teacher is Mr. Murray.

 Kirt had to get in on the picture taking too.
