Solar Eclipse

There was a solar eclipse today. The moon came in front of the sun and blocked 92% of the suns rays in Spokane.

We had 1 pair of eclipse glasses to share.  We shared with all the neighbors.  Thanks to Grammy's co-worker for getting them for us because I really dropped the ball and forgot to get them until it was too late.

Our neighbors made a shadow box and used a magnifying glass to magnify it.

We really couldn't get good pictures of the eclipse.

Tanner's High Adventure 2017

The young men went to La Push Washington for their high adventure this year.  They did lots of hiking and went surfing.

Tanner, Moses Page, Hunter Crandall, Isaiah Page, Evan Zapalac, Julius Page, Jon Tolley, and Kirt

The boys all had to hop on the merry-go-round at one of their stops

They had hamburgers and hot dogs or hot dogs and hamburgers for every dinner.

Tanner and the robe

One of Tanner's friends on his AAU team won this robe and gave it to him.  He loves wearing it around the house.

Crazy Garret

Garret has loved swimming this summer with his friends. I came into the bathroom and found him and his buddy Sam sitting in the shower after they had been swimming one afternoon.

Eastern Washington Camp

Tanner went to the Eastern Washington camp. They were super excited that he was there and told him that they were going to recruit the heck out of him.
