Idaho VS Southern Utah University

Tanner played SUU on January 7th and 9th in Cedar City Utah.  They lost both games.  SUU had originally been letting in a few fans, but a few days before the game, they posted on their website that they were not letting fans in anymore.  Emilie was home in St. George for Christmas still and decided to try and go to the game anyway.  She was able to get into the game and watch it.  She sent us some pictures.  

Since Emilie got into the Thursday game, my parents decided to go down and try and get into the Saturday game.  (They had already decided to go down to Utah anyway.  They picked up Kathleen in Boise and took her back to BYU and went and visited Marsha.) Marsha went to the game with them too.  They were able to get into the game.  They said it was so fun to watch Tanner in person.  They got to meet Emilie and her family because they were at the game too.  

Kirt's Trip to Florida

Joel Peterson has a home on Coco Beach in Florida.  He invited Kirt, Dave Fry, Paul (Joel's brother), and Daryl Gilliland to come and spend the week there with him.  They did some work and some play.  They went fishing, to Universal Studios and NASA.

Garret's Basketball Tournament

Garret had another basketball tournament in Lewiston.  Kirt took him down.  He had a game at 3:35pm and one at 9pm.  So they just drove down Saturday afternoon and came back at 12:45am on Sunday morning.  They won both games. They had fun hanging out between games at a restaurant and watching the Gonzaga game.  Katie and I stayed home and played games with Grammy and Pompa, had Cafe Rio for dinner, and watched a movie. 

 

Brunch

Katie and her friends dressed up and went to brunch at Le Peep in Coeur d'Alene.  

New Year's Day Hike

We went for a hike in Dishman Hills with Grammy in the afternoon on New Year's Day.  We were going to go snow shoeing but decided there wasn't enough snow so we just wore our boots.
