We left Monteverde and went to the airport and picked up my mom and Jon and Michelle. They are going to spend a week with us! My dad was going to come with my mom, but he fell the day that we left and tore his quad muscle. So we were able to arrange tickets for Jon and Michelle to come instead. My mom really wanted to come, but she didn't want to come along. It was a miracle that everything worked out for Jon and Michelle to come. They had to drive over and back in a day to Seattle to get their passports, but they were able to get them. Their flight went through Salt Lake, so they took their kids with them on that leg (they fly for free because Michelle's dad works for Delta) and Michelle's sister Katie picked them up at the airport. We were super excited that it all worked out, but sad that my dad isn't able to come. After they got there, we drove to La Fortuna. We had 7 long hours in our piece of junk van.
