Mady Goes to Mormon Prom

Katie's AAU Team The Titans

Katie is playing with a new AAU team called The Titans (yes just like her high school team). She had her 1st tournament this weekend.  The club team is run by a man named Lee Sayers and he runs the practices.  Katie's coaches are Kevin, ?? The girls on her team are Allie Garry, Brooklyn Dryden, Ella Curry, Emmelia Wevers, Grace Robinson, Halle Fehler, Lilly Hoekema, Raimee Bouvette, and Sophia Munoz. 

This weekend we went to Yakima with Katie's basketball team.  Her team played Y.E.A Friday night and they lost.  Katie had 2 points.  Saturday morning they played Spokane Fever and they won in over time.  Katie had an awesome game.  She had 16 point!! On Saturday night they played All Out and won.  Katie had 4 points.  Katie really likes her team. Especially the 9th graders.  She rode to the game in Grace's car with Grace, Lilly, and Raimee. They also hung out together between the Saturday morning and evening games.

Easter 2019

The Easter Bunny still found Katie and Garret this year.  They both asked me if he was going to still come.  I think they are worried that the Easter Bunny thought they were too old.  They both got new church clothes.  They did their Easter egg hunt.  They both couldn't find 1 egg and the Easter Bunny didn't remember where they were.  Luckily they were not hard boiled.  We will find them sometime throughout the year.  We went to dinner at Jon and Michelle's.  They even got to do another egg hunt with their cousins.

Youth Activity

We played ultimate frisbee for our youth activity this week.  We had over 45 youth at the activity.  We have a HUGE youth group in our new ward.  It's crazy.

Driving with Mady

Mady has had her drivers license for 6 months so she can now drive people other than family members.  Mady, Olivia, and Katie went out Friday and Saturday night this weekend.  I don't think we will ever see them again:)
