1st Day of School 2019

Katie really didn't want to go to school today.  She is in 10th grade at University High School.  

Her teachers are:

1st period Algebra 2 with Mrs. Mandere (This is her math teacher from last year and she didn't like her last year.  She can never remember anyone's name and she is really boring.)

2nd period AP Language Arts with Mrs. Tremble (She is her TAP teacher and the sophomore class advisor.)

3rd period Seminary with Brother Harward

4th period Chemistry with Mrs. Griffith (She is supposedly not the good Chemistry teacher.)

2nd Lunch 

5th period Spanish with Mrs. Cowan

6th period AP US History with Mr. Schneider

She is also taking an online Music Theory class to make up the credit she is missing by taking release time seminary.  

She really didn't have a very good week.  She doesn't have any friends in her classes or in her lunch.  Plus she has to walk to and from school by herself because Olivia is doing running start this year at SCC and Madison doesn't have a 1st period class.  The only class that she says she likes is seminary. 

Garret on the other hand, had a great 1st week. He is a 7th grader at Horizon Middle School.

His teachers are:

1st period History with Mrs. Moffit

2nd period Guitar with Mrs. Hadley-Morgan

3rd period Language Arts with Mrs. Moffit

4th period Science with Mr. Hawley

2nd lunch

5th period Math with Miss Bruns 

6th period PE with Mrs. Anderberg

He has tons of friends in all of his classes.  He was really excited to get Mr. Hawley for science.  He is also doing cross country after school.  The coaches this year are Mr. Hildahl and Mrs. Florence.  The only thing he didn't like is that they are at the old U-High all year and it is not a very nice school.  Horizon won't be done with it's remodel until the beginning of the 2020 school year.  At least he will get to go to 8th grade in the new school. 

 I posted this picture on Facebook and everyone thought that Garret was taller than Katie.  Even Grammy who had seen them in July.  

 Katie needed some 2nd day of school pictures.  This was the outfit she would have worn on the 1st day of school if she hadn't have had to wear her Crimson Crew shirt.
