Garret's Freshman Basketball Season

Garret's jamboree at West Valley.  They played Cheney and West Valley and beat them both!

Playing at Lake City High School in CDA.  My friend Leslie (McFarlane) Yake from my ward growing up had a son on the opposing team and sent me these pictures.  (Her son is #15 on the white team)

Katie's Senior Basketball Season

The Jamboree at CV on November 27th.  They played West Valley and CV and beat them both.  

Team dinner at our house.  We had egg casserole, cinnamon rolls, and orange julius. 

Ryan Griep, Katie's teammate from last season came and watched the Mt. Spokane game. 

The team went to the Tri-Cities and played Pasco on Friday night December 3rd and Chiawana on Saturday the 4th.  Grammy and Pompa watched the game on Friday night.  They were both rough games.  The other teams were really mean and Katie's team got beat up.

Thanksgiving 2021

Thanksgiving was fun this year!! Ryan and Angela came up from Boise.  Grandma Spear even joined us.  We missed Tanner and Emilie and Jessy and her family.  We had dinner at mom's house.  I was supposed to work, but got to be low censused until 4pm.

Pompa planned a bunch of minute to win it games for the kids.  We played them in the clubhouse in the neighborhood. 

How many plates on cups can you stack in a minute.

How fast can you stack all the cups into one cup.

How many skittles can you suck up with a straw and drop in the bowl in a minute.

How many ping pong balls can you bounce into the cup in a minute.

Can you keep all 3 balloons in the air for a minute.

How many Cheerios can you put on the pipe cleaner using only one hand in a minute.

Can you knock the ping pong ball over?

Can you get the Oreo from your forehead to your mouth?

Grandma had Thanksgiving with us this year!

Most everyone went to see Encanto at the movie theater later that afternoon.  I had to go to work.  Jon and Michelle were getting ready for the surprise trip to Disneyland the next day, and Rachelle stayed home with Finn. 

 

 

Utah Valley and Cal Poly Games

The week of Thanksgiving, Tanner had a tournament in California.  They played Utah Valley on Monday November 22nd and Cal Poly on Wednesday November 24th.  Emilie flew down to California to watch the games.  Her family drove down to watch them.  They drove back to Utah on Wednesday night after the game and Emilie spent Thanksgiving with her family in St. George.  Tanner flew to Fargo North Dakota on Thanksgiving because they play North Dakota on Saturday November 27th.  Fun Thanksgiving for Tanner. 

Emilie ended up on the same flight with the team on the way down to California.  She wasn't sure that Tanner was going to acknowledge her existence on the flight, but he did, and he even saved her a seat.
