Katie and I along with her friend Lilly Peterson and Lilly's mom Melissa went for a visit at Utah State University in Logan Utah. We drove down on Wednesday, it's about a 9 hour drive. When we got there, we checked into our hotel and walked around the temple and the tabernacle. Thursday we did a guided tour of the campus. After the tour, we got ice-cream, went and saw the dorms and the institute building. After the tour, we drove around the town and had lunch at Kneaders. We went back to the hotel. Katie's friends Mady Crandall and Tanaeya Thompson came up. Katie, Mady, and Tanaeya went hatchet throwing. Melissa, Lilly, and I stayed at the hotel and took a nap. The girls then went and walked around the temple and Melissa and I did a historic buildings self guided tour. We all went to dinner at Lucky Pizza. Mady and Tanaeya had to go home. Katie was sad to see them go. We went back to the hotel and read. We got up early Friday morning and drove home. Katie really liked Utah State. She has already been accepted. We are now praying that she gets a scholarship so she can go there because out of state tuition is pretty expensive.
