BVI Sailing Trip Day 7

Today we stayed anchored in the bay in Virgin Gorda until late afternoon.  Everyone got up and went snorkeling in the bay but me.  I talked to Katie since Monday morning is the only time I get to talk to her all week.  Then I went and joined them snorkeling.  I also went paddle boarding.  The bay had the most beautiful turquoise water.  Then Liz and I paddle boarded into the shore and then swam back.  We saw a manta ray on the bottom of the ocean right by the chain from our anchor.  We took the dingy into shore and went for a hike.  We all got eaten alive by bugs and mosquitos.  We forgot to put on bug spray.  We had a cool view of our boat from the top of the island on our hike.

This picture actually camptures the beautiful water color.

We had to stop at a port to get gas and water for the boat.  Mark did an awesome job docking the boat all by himself.  There was this old phone booth on the dock that we just had to take a picture in.  It actually had a working shower in it.  We then moored in the bay near the dock in another bay of Virgin Gorda.
