BVI Sailing Day 4

We got up and returned our rental car and took the ferry from St Thomas to Tortola.

The harbor with all the sail boats.  Our boat is in there somewhere!

Tori put together a menu and ordered all our food online and they delivered it to the boat!

Our boat! It is a Lagoon 42 (a 42 foot catamaran), and it's name is Moana.  It's managed by the company Navagari.

And we are off.  The people at Navagari helped to get us out of the marina, and then just jumped off the boat at the last dock.

This is the back of the boat. It has an eating area.

Front of the boat with the jib sail.  We could lay on those nets and relax.

Our captains!

This is where Tori, Liz and I spent most of our time when we were sailing.  We got less sea sick if we had the wind in our faces and could watch where we were sailing.

Kirt's driving the boat!

Catching our first mooring ball. We just sailed around the corner our first day to a bay still on Tortola called Sopers Hole.  We moored there for the night.  Don and Liz didn't fly in until Friday afternoon.  They barely caught the ferry from St Thomas to Tortola but they made it!!  Then they took a taxi to Sopers Hole Bay and we took the dingy in and picked them up and brought them to the boat.  We had dinner the first night on the boat.
