Today we drove from San Jose to Sierpe. We made some stops along the way.
Our first stop was the crocodile bridge on the Tarcoles River. There are always crocodiles underneath this bridge. In the past we have fed them chicken, but it is illegal now.
Our 2nd stop was for a hike in Carara National Park. It was supposed to be a good place to see macaws, but unfortunately we didn't see any or much of anything else. We did see some monkeys right at the very end.
Our 3rd stop was in Esterillos Oeste. We stayed in this town in 2008. We drove by the house that we stayed in.
Our 4th stop was lunch at the Hotel Si Como No in Manual Antonio. We have gone to this hotel on several of our other trips. We love the slide!
We got to Sierpe late and crashed in our hotel room.
