We got up super early to go to church. The church website said there was a ward 26km
outside of Roma. Unfortunately, we were
never able to find it. We were very bummed. It would have been very interesting to go to
church in Lesotho. We continued on to
Semonkong Lesotho. The drive was
breathtaking. There were tons of little
villages along the way with Rondavels (small round houses). We
stayed at the Semonkong Logde. We stayed
in a double Rondavel, two Rondavels with a small kitchen in the
middle. We at least had power and
running water. Most of the villagers
don’t. There is power in the village
because there is a dam nearby, but it is too expensive for most of the people. They do not have running water either. There are a few taps in the village that the
more well to do people have put in and they can buy water from the tap, or go
down and get it from the stream. When we
got there, we went rappelling or abseiling as the British call it. We did the practice rappel. It was only 60 feet. Everyone did it 3 times. I was so proud of Katie and Garret. They were so scared but they did it
anyway. Wait until you see what we were
practicing for.

Another eating picture. It was very cold in Lesotho and nowhere we have been yet has any heat inside.
