We picked Katie up from work at 4 and went out to the lake for a quick wake surfing trip. We have to get as much in as possible since we didn't have our boat for most of the summer.
We found a new rope swing thanks to Natalie Ford. It is a much stronger rope (although the tree is a little wimpy) and the water is much deeper so they can swing on it all summer. The water gets too shallow at the other rope swing by the end of the summer. There is also a pole with a hook on it to help grab the rope and a board nailed to a tree that you can sign on if you want to be a member of the Spirit Lake Rope Swing Club.
