Tanner's awesome basketball skills

Tanner plays basketball everyday after school. He is always in shorts too, even in 40 degree weather.

Katie Riding Her Bike

Katie is starting to learn to ride a bike with training wheels.  It is the same bike that I got for my 5th birthday that I (and all my siblings) learned to ride a bike on.

All Dressed up for Easter Pictures

Katie's cute Easter dress. She actually didn't even end up wearing it. She decided at the last minute that it was too big. But at least we got a cute picture in a dress that she may not own. I got it at Costco about a month ago and who knows if they will still have them and if they do if they will have a smaller size.

Easter 2008

The Easter bunny definitely found the Christensen house. The kids had lots of fun finding their Easter eggs.

Coloring Easter Eggs

We had fun coloring Easter eggs. Katie would have colored 100 if we had let her or had boiled that many eggs. Her eggs were beautiful. Garret had fun eating an apple as he watched.

Tanner's 1st Pinewood Derby

It was Tanner's first pinewood derby. Pompa helped him with his car. Pompa must really know his stuff because Tanner got 2nd place. (Actually it turns out he really got 1st place because it turns out that the 1st place car had washers on his wheels which is illegal.) No big deal. It was lots of fun racing and Tanner got some good bonding time with Pompa.

"Seussical Jr."

The 2nd graders at Tanner's school put on a little musical called "Seussical Jr." Tanner was one of the narrators for it. He got to say "What have we learned so far from Dr. Seuss."

Tanner's City Project for Able Learner

Tanner did a city project for his Ables class. He chose Salt Lake City. He did a bunch of research on the city and then made this display board. On the day of the presentation, they had a city fair at his school. The parents walked around to each display board and the student told them a 2 minute speech about their city. Tanner did a great job!

Tanner's Baptism

Tanner was baptized on March 8th 2008. We are so proud of him. He stayed under the water and only had to be dunked once. We wished that you all could have been there to share this special day with him.
