Cruise Day 4-March 31st Turks and Caicos

Today we got off the boat in Turks and Caicos.

Kirt, Garret, and I went to a beach and Kirt and Garret went snorkeling.  They saw a barracuda.

The Friendship 7 space capsule landed in the water off of Turks and Caicos.  No one is sure if it's an original or not.

In the afternoon we rented a golf cart and drove around the island.  Connie and Vance came with us.

Garret was our chauffeur

We went to the far side of the island and saw a lighthouse

The water was so blue

There were lots of donkeys just roaming the island

The kids loved going to the kids club

Garret loved playing basketball on the boat

Tanner Signed with Hawaii

Tanner decided to play one more year of basketball.  He had a 5th year because of Covid.  He is going to play at the University of Hawaii.  He and Emilie went and did a visit there this weekend and just loved it.  They are so excited to go and live in Hawaii for a year (and so is everyone who wants to come and visit and watch him play)!  They had been talking to the Hawaii coach when they were leaving Idaho before they went to Utah Tech.  They really wanted to go then, but the night before they were going to do their visit, another long shot recruit that Hawaii had offered months ago, decided to commit, so they didn't get to even go on their visit, let alone sign with them.  But this time the Hawaii coach wasn't going to let Tanner get away.  The Hawaii coach was in Vegas when Tanner put his name in the portal.  He drove up to St. George that day and took Tanner and Emilie to dinner.  He told them that the collective could pay Tanner a lot of NIL money and that they really wanted Tanner to come and play for Hawaii.  Tanner and Emilie were sold.  It's going to be an awesome year!
