High 5 Volleyball Tournament

Garret played in the High 5 Volleyball tournament at Horizon.  His team tied for 1st place. (They had the best record.  It wasn't a bracket tournament.) Garret is an awesome server.  They played games to 11 and he served an entire game one game.

Tree of Elegance

We went downtown to see the Tree of Elegance display.  Every year, the Spokane Symphony puts on a fundraiser.  People donate trees and other gifts to the Symphony and then they raffle the trees and gifts off.  The trees are displayed at the Davenport and the Riverpark Square mall.  It is fun to go and see all the beautiful trees.

We went and looked at Christmas lights around town after looking at the trees.

I saw Garret kissing Santa Claus.

Idaho VS WSU basketball game

Kirt and Garret went down to an Idaho vs WSU basketball game.  They got to sit right behind the Idaho bench.  Unfortunately Idaho lost 70-90 but it was still lots of fun to cheer them on.

This picture was in the Spokesman Review (our local paper).  You can see Garret in the background.

Ward Christmas Party

Our ward Christmas party this year was hosted by the YM.  We had a "Nacho Typical" Christmas party. Yep, you guessed it, we had a nacho bar.  It was actually a lot of fun and really well done.  The YM also had fun activities for the kids-a bean bag toss, pin the antlers on Rudolph, sitting on Santa's lap, and a piƱata.  The adults got to sit and visit while the YM entertained the kids so it was perfect.

1st voice recital

Garret and I have been taking voice lessons from Emily Corbitt.  We are really enjoying them and have learned a lot.  We had our 1st recital.  Garret and I sang a duet "Don't Need Anything But You" from Annie and Garret sang a solo "I Won't Grow Up" from Peter Pan. I chickened out and didn't do my solo. Grammy played the piano for us.
