Katie's School Christmas Program

The kindergarteners at Katie's did the cutest program. They sang a bunch of songs and recited some poems. They were adorable.

Luv True Luv

Garret and I were driving in the car and he was just babbling away. I wasn't really listening to him, when all of a sudden I heard him say "I'm going to marry Natalie." Then followed by a short pause, "And Megan". Apparently he is planning on bringing polygamy back.

What Ya Eating?

The other night, Kirt was sitting in Garret's room trying to get him to go to sleep (a very difficult and time consuming task) and Garret just kept chomping away like he was eating something. Kirt finally asked him what he was doing. Garret said "eating a Krabby Patty". I think he is watching a little too much Sponge Bob.

Gingerbread House Building

The kids have been so excited about building the Gingerbread House. I bought the kit a few weeks ago and they have asked me everyday since if we were going to build it that day. Well it turns out that they weren't so interested in building it, but eating it. So next year I think I am just going to buy some candy, frosting and gingerbread and just let them eat it. We let Tanner do a lot of the frosting, can you tell?

Wise Men?

We went to a play about the birth of the Saviour and the events leading up to it last night at our stake center. It was really good, but a little long. So we were driving home from the play, and we asked Tanner what his favorite part of the play was. He said his favorite part was that they didn't have the wise men come because that would have made the play even longer. So Kirt started quizzing the kids on what they knew about the wise men. He asked what the gifts were that the wise men brought to Jesus. Tanner said "gold, frankenstein and meth"? We have definitely been teaching him well.
