Kirt and Tanner's Trip to Ecuador and Peru July 8-18 2013

Since Tanner earned his eagle Kirt told him he would take him on a trip (I think that Kirt just needed an excuse to go on another trip:) They decided to go to Peru and hike the Inca Trail.  They of course threw in a bunch of other fun stuff that was in the area.

Guitar Lessons

Tanner is giving Katie and Garret guitar lessons.  He was going to do them all summer, but I think this may have been the only one.  Oh well, we always have the best intentions. 

Kirt's Office

Kirt finally got his sign up at his office.  His office is on the corner of Raymond and Main (near University and Sprague).

Tanner has been taking guitar lessons from Gary Teslow.  He has really loved learning to play the guitar. 

Katie's softball

Katie decided that she wanted to play softball this summer.  We have a rule in our family that you can't play baseball or softball until the summer after 3rd grade.  That was this summer for Katie, so we let her play (even though both Kirt and I dislike the game very much.)  She had a fun season but has decided she is not going to play next year!!

At the beginning of summer, the kids really wanted some Zhu Zhu Pets.  We found this great deal for a bunch of them, plus some tracks for them to run on listed on Craigslist.  They had fun with them for about a week and now they are sitting in a box.
