Disney Land, Universal Studios, and Sea World Trip October 20-26 2013

On October 20th we left Spokane and headed to Disneyland.  We spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in Disneyland and California Adventure.  We went to Universal Studios on Thursday.  On the way back from there, we drove by our house in West Hollywood, had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory and went to the LA temple.  On Friday we went to Sea World.  Saturday we flew home.  It was a grand adventure!

Katie's Nail Salon

During general conference Katie opened a nail salon and did my nails for me.

Katie's cabbage

At the end of 3rd grade, Katie came home with a cabbage.  She said that we needed to plant it and grow it over the summer and then at the beginning of 4th grade we needed to pick it and weigh it.  The person with the largest cabbage would be entered into a state wide competition.  Her cabbage grew really big.  It weighed 27lbs.  Unfortunately someone else's weighed 31lbs.  Katie's might have weighed more, but some kind of animal started munching on it.
