New Puppy

No we did not get a dog.  Jon and Michelle did though.  They got a mini labradoodle.  It is very cute. I actually petted it if you can believe it.  They named him Padfoot.

Happy 13th Birthday Garret

My baby is 13 today and officially a teenager.  I can't believe that Garret is so old.  We are still in semi-quarantine so we had a family birthday for him this year.  He got up and opened presents.  He go a Rubik's Cube, air pods, a bunch of books, and a Settlers of Cataan expansion pack.  He got cinnamin rolls for breakfast.  After breakfast, he and Katie went for a hike in Dishman Hills.  In the afternoon we played volleyball at Brown's Park and tennis at U-High.  For dinner we had steaks and then went to Dairy Queen for blizzards.  We watched the movie Home Alone in the evening.  What an awesome birthday Garret!

Tanner's New Car

Since Tanner's last car got wrecked while he was on his mission (see post "Tanner's Poor Car" on November 24, 2018), we had to buy him a new car. We have been looking for a few weeks and we found this one in Sandpoint being sold by a privately.  We did a lot of research and decided that the car was in good shape and a good deal.  It is a 2010 Subaru Forester.  It has 93.000 miles on it. 

Happy 47th Birthday Kirt

Katie made Kirt a delicious coffee cake for breakfast.  

We had a steak dinner for his birthday.

 In the evening, Kirt and I went to the lake to spend a quiet evening away from the kids.  In the morning, we went on a hike.

 While we were out at the lake, the kids put on face masks.

Slumber Party

Katie, Mady, and Olivia had a sleep over.  They went to dinner at River City Pizza, watched a movie, and then spent the night on Olivia's trampoline.

Pupusas

We found this lady from El Salvador that made these delicious pupusas.  We fell in love with these when we went to El Salvador.  They are so yummy!

Volleyball Fun

Katie, Tanaeya Thompson, Mary Gubler, Garret, and Jaden Thompson went to Brown's Park and played volleyball.
