Welcome Home Katie

It was Grammy, so Grammy took all the grandkids to welcome Katie home from school for Christmas break. 

 

Polar Dip

Katie and Lilly got the crazy idea to go polar dip in Deer Creek.  They are insane!

 

Temple Square Lights

Katie, Lilly, and Mary rode the Frontrunner up to Salt Lake and met up with Tanaeya.  They did some shopping, went to dinner, and went and saw the lights on Temple Square.  

When they were shopping, they saw Madison who was working at Deseret Book. 

 

Emilie's 21st Birthday

Emilie turned 21 today! Tanner took her out for sushi for her birthday. 

 

Ward Christmas Party

The YW were in charge of the Ward Christmas party this year.  We had a breakfast, a short program, and then the 3 wise men handed out treats for the kids.  

The 3 wise men, Bishop Minarik, Rob Damiano, and Cary Fry.

 

Thanksgiving 2022

Kirt, Garret and I had Thanksgiving in Spokane at Grammy and Pompa's house with Grammy, Pompa, and Jon and Cam's families.  

Katie had Thanksgiving in Vernal at Grandma and Grandpa Christensen's house.  Cindy, Marci, Tami, Brett, Lindsey, and Lacey's families were there.  (Aaron was in town, but he had Thanksgiving with Kim's family at his house.)  There were lots of pies there. 

Katie went and visited Grandpa York

Emilie was in St. George and had Thanksgiving with her family. Tanner was flying to North Dakota because he has games there on Friday and Saturday.  Emilie's family got matching sweatshirts.

 

Grandpa and Aaron Visit

Grandpa Christensen and Aaron came to Spokane to watch Tanner's game against the university of Idaho.  Grandpa had always wanted to come up for a game last year, but hadn't been able to make it.  So since Utah Tech was playing Idaho at Idaho, he decided to come up for the game.  Grandma couldn't come because she was taking care of Grandpa York, so Aaron came with Grandpa.  Grandma said that Grandpa couldn't come alone.  They went out to dinner at Outback.  Garret couldn't have been happier.
