Utah Trip Day 6

Today we woke up in our covered wagon and it was freezing, like 35 degrees.  Luckily it warmed up. We went into Zion's National Park. You have to park outside the park and ride a bus into the park. We waited for about 45 minutes in line to catch the bus.  Then we hiked Angel's Landing and hiked to the end of The Narrows.
We stayed in a place called Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort.  We slept in a conestoga wagon.

Inside the conestoga wagon.  There were 2 sets of bunk beds and a king bed.

The ranch had a basketball court, playground, tennis court and swimming pool.  It also had ping pong tables and a pool table.

Waiting in line for the bus.  It was still pretty cold.
 Start of Angels Landing

Looking down at the trail behind us.  This was only about a third of the way up too.
 The switch backs
Sitting and resting before we start the really scary part of the hike.

This is the scary part.  It was a sheer drop on each side.  Thankfully there was a chain to hold on to in most places.

 Views from the top!

Going down was almost harder because my legs were so tired.

After lunch we walked to the end of The Narrows.  It is another famous hike in Zion's that you have to walk through the water between these two narrow canyons.
