Tempos Concert at the Mall

Tanner is in an after school choir at school called the Tempos. They performed at the CV days at the mall. He and his friend Blake were in a number called the Pasta Song. Tanner was the waiter and he was serving Blake pasta. It was cute.

Trip to Boise

Katie took this picture of Brandon and Kathleen when the were here for Christmas. I just thought it was really cute.

The kids and I decided to drive down to Boise to see my brother Ryan and his family. Kirt was in Hawaii speaking at a seminar. He was there during the tsunami. Luckily all was well and the tsunami came and went with no damage. While in Boise we went to Ryan's ward's dinner and dessert auction. Tanner won a yummy chocolate cake. I got to play volleyball with Angela. We went to the zoo. It was lots of fun to visit them.

Katie's 6th Birthday

We had birthday cinnamon rolls instead of cake for Katie's birthday this year.

For her birthday Katie and her friend Olivia went and got their fingernails and toenails painted. They got to sit in these cute little pedicure chairs. Katie also got a new bike for her birthday. She is super fast on it.

Tanner's 10th Birthday

I can't believe that I have a kid who is a decade old. We had pretty laid back birthday's this year. I told my kids when they were little that they could have friend birthday parties on their 4th, 8th, 12th and 16th birthdays. So this was not a friend year. We had a fun family outing though. We went and saw the movie Percy Jackson and the Olympians, The Lightening Thief and went to dinner at Red Robin. We had cake and icecream for Tanner's birthday at Jon and Michelle's. I forgot to bring candles so hence the #1 candle on the cake because it was the only one they had. Jessy and Will were in town too. For Tanner's birthday, we got him an electric skateboard. It is as much for him as it is for Kirt. It is awesome to ride.

Tanner Playing Basketball

Here's a few shots of Tanner playing basketball. He played his first year of AAU basketball and the competition was much more intense. They have easily won all their games in the years past, but this year they ended up 7th of 17 teams. They improved a lot throughout the year, but we were pretty worried at first. Tanner's team played in a league with Jon Stockon's son (former Utah Jazz player) and Jon Stockon was the coach. Tanner'a team played them two times. The first time Tanner took his Utah Jazz hat and asked Jon Stockon to autograph it. He said that he doesn't give autographs out when he is with his family, but that he would shake Tanner's hand and told him that he played a good game. There is a picture of Jon Stockon sitting on the the bench. Tanner thought it was pretty cool.

Snowboarding with the Enloes

Kirt and Tanner skipped school and work on Friday and went snowboarding with our friends the Enloes at Schweitzer ski resort. They had lots of fun.
