Spear Family Olympics

We decided that we would have the Olympic games for the kids. Of course when the adults saw how much fun it looked, they had to participate in some of the events too. We had each of the kids choose a country that they wanted to represent and made them a flag with a number on it for them to wear. Then we had an opening ceremony. Then came the events. We had a 100 meter dash, a shot put, a discus throw, the long jump a.k.a the standing broad jump, a water balloon toss, 3 legged race, obstacle course, and a tug of war. Bet you didn't know that some of these were Olympic events. Of course no Olympics would be complete without a medal ceremony. Each child was awarded with a Gold Rice Krispy Medal. It was lots of fun.

Here's the kids with the countries that they are going to represent for the Olympic Games.

My dad brought out this game after the Olympics were over. You try and pull the other person off their bucket without falling off of your own or letting go.
