Garret is finally in 3rd grade and so he got to play baseball. We let Tanner play baseball after kindergarten and decided that that is way to young to start baseball. He didn't play again until the end of 3rd grade and he wasn't behind at all so it became our new family rule that you don't get to play baseball until you are in 3rd grade. Since Garret is so young, he was able to play on the same team as Nixon this year. Jon and his high school buddy, Brandon Florence were his coaches. We were hoping Garret wouldn't like it, because both Kirt and I are not big baseball fans, but of course he loved it.
They got to play their 1st game at Avista Stadium where the Spokane Indians play.
