China Day 9

Today we flew from Beijing to Guilin.  We specifically told the receptionist at our Air B&B that we needed a taxi for 4 people and 3 suitcases.  She said that she found us one.  When the taxi got there, it was a small car like a Toyota Corolla and to top it all off, the trunk was full of junk.  We were able to get one suitcase in the trunk and had to put the other 2 in the front seat.  So the 4 of us crammed in the back seat.  It was a long hour and a half to the airport.  When we got to Guilin, our hotel picked us up and drove us about an hour and a half to Yangshuo. We had dinner at our hotel, The Tea Cozy. Our hotel is owned by an adorable lady named Amy.  She arranged all our transportation and activities while we were in Yangshuo. Then after dinner we went to the Liu San Jie Impression Light Show.

Crammed in the taxi.
 Katie on the plane.
 Dinner at the hotel.
The Liu San Jie Impression Light Show.  It was supposed to be amazing, but we all unfortunately thought it was a little overrated.
