Garret had a baseball game at Dwight Merkel. We knew that it was going to rain, but it hadn't started raining yet so they wouldn't cancel the game. When we were driving to the game, we were on the freeway at about the Hamilton exit and it started to rain so hard. I've never seen it rain so hard and so fast. By the time we got off the freeway on the Maple street exit less than 5 minutes later, there was so much water on the roads. It was crazy. They had cancelled the game by this time and so we got back on the freeway and headed home. It was fun to watch the storm from the car. Lots of really huge lightening and big thunder booms.
