We explored the island of St Thomas today. (We decided to not meet Mark and Tori today since we will be spending the next week with them on the boat.) We went to Mountain Top, a cool view point that you could see Magen's Bay from. It also had the largest gift shop that I had ever seen.
The theme of the gift shop was pirates.
Then we went to another view point that we could see the other side of the island.
Hull Bay. This is where the locals come to fish.
We saw these huge tarpin fish just swimming right off the boat launch.
We went for a short hike from Hull Bay. The drive ways were so steep. Guess you can do that if you don't have snow ever.
We went and spent the afternoon hanging out on the beach at Magen's Bay. It was a beautiful beach. It was really crowded when we got there, but by late afternoon, all the people that were there from the cruise ships had left to go back to the boat and we had the beach pretty much to ourselves.
I went for a walk down the beach
Kirt got lunch on the beach
Kirt went snorkeling and saw a few turtles.
We went to dinner and then had some very expensive ice cream cones.
