Nicaragua and Costa Rica Trip Day 4

Thursday we tried to go to the Masaya Volcano, but unfortunately it was closed because of recent volcanic activity.  Bummer, that would have been fun to see an active volcano.  I guess better safe than sorry.  We went to the old center market in Masaya and each of the kids bought a souvenir for themselves.  Then we found a different and much safer overlook view of Apoyo lake.

One of Garret's souvenirs was a sling shot which he proceeded to get taken away from him because he shot a rock at the back of his sister's head in the car on the way home from the market.
A lady making a shaved ice for us.  They just shave the block of ice right when you order it.

 Apoyo Lake
Mombachu Volcano.  This one is not active.
