Church History Trip Day 7

Tuesday we made the long drive to Nauvoo.  It was almost a 10 hour drive and it seemed like it took forever.  When we got there, we got a picnic lunch and went and ate it near the temple.  The Nauvoo temple is so beautiful.  We walked around the temple grounds.  Then we went to our condo.  We stayed in a nice 2 bedroom condo with a kitchen and living room and 2 bathrooms.  It was nice to be able to spread out for a few nights and not all have to be in the same room.  The kids and I went for a  walk and we so tons of fireflies.  I had never seen them before.  It was cool.

We left Ohio
Drove all the way through Indiana
 Into Illinois
Through a tiny bit of Iowa and then back into Illinois
This bridge had to swing open to let a large ship go through.  It was cool to watch it.
